Hotel Valuation & Cost Segregation Services, LLC helps property owners and their CPAs with cost segregation studies, FF&E valuations, purchase price allocations and machinery and equipment appraisals.

Walter O’Connell holds the ASA (Accredited Senior Appraiser) designation from the American Society of Appraisers. He has extensive experience valuing furniture, fixtures and equipment and preparing cost segregation studies in the hospitality industry, and he wrote an Estimated Useful Lives Guide for lodging assets. He holds a B.A. in Economics and a B.S. in Finance from Kean University and an M.A. in Economics from Montclair State University. He also teaches technical courses in personal property valuation and cost segregation.
